Privacy& cookies
This site is a personal freelance portfolio. It sets no cookies and tracks no one. The only personal data I handle is what you choose to send me through the contact form, and this page explains exactly what happens to it.

Who is responsible
The data controller is yukimi.eu, the personal freelance practice of Ira. For anything in this policy, write to ira@yukimi.eu.
What data I collect
I only collect what you type into the contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The message you write
Nothing is collected in the background: no accounts, no profiles, no mailing lists, no behaviour tracking. The hosting provider also keeps ordinary technical server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to keep the site secure and running.
Why I use it, and on what basis
I use your name, email and message for one purpose only: to read your enquiry and reply to you. I do not use them for marketing, I do not add you to any list, and I never sell them or share them for advertising.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the privacy checkbox before sending the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, when you are asking about working together, steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me.
Who else handles it
To run the site I rely on a few service providers, each acting on my instructions:
- EmailJS delivers what you type in the form to my mailbox and may keep a short delivery history.
- Vercel hosts the website, keeps standard server logs and provides the cookieless analytics described below.
- My email provider hosts the yukimi.eu mailbox, which I read from a mail app and from webmail. This is where your message is finally stored.
Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area, so your data may be transferred there. Such transfers rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. I do not hand your data to anyone else.
Email automation
When you send the form, an automated service turns it into an email and delivers it to my inbox at ira@yukimi.eu. That is the only automation involved. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making about you, and no automatic marketing emails are ever sent. I read and answer every message personally.
How long I keep it
Your message stays in my mailbox for as long as it takes to answer you. If we end up working together, I keep it for the length of the project plus the period the law requires for business records. If nothing comes of it, I delete it after 24 months without contact, or sooner if you ask. Server logs kept by the host are short-lived.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or move it elsewhere, and you can object to how I use it. Write to ira@yukimi.eu and I will answer within one month. If you think I have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies of any kind, and it stores nothing else on your device for tracking, such as local storage or fingerprints. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or reject.
To count visits I use Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies, does not follow you across other websites and does not identify you. It only produces anonymous, aggregated figures such as page views, country and browser type, which show me whether the site works. The basis is my legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
If this ever changes, this page will change first, and I will ask for your consent before setting anything that requires it.
Links to other sites
The site links to client projects and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which I do not control.
Changes to this page
If I change how the site works, I will update this page and the date at the top.
